I spent the last 20 years on the road as a touring artist. Whenever I was home, I’d head to the kitchen to reset. Baking became my quiet routine. My go-to has always been our family’s chocolate chip cookie, a recipe I’ve been tweaking since I was a kid. When I moved to Nashville in 2012, my friends didn’t beg me to stay, but they did beg me to leave them my recipe.

I’ve tried other chocolate chip cookies all over the country while on tour, from tiny shops in small towns, to high profile spots in big cities. I’ve never found one that I prefer over my own. So now it’s now time to share it with Nashville.
